The Constellation Taurus is depicted as a bull in cave paintings from 15,000BC. It is identified in Babylonian, Hebrew, Sumerian, Celtic, Egyptian and Buddhist mythology. The giant star Aldebaran is said to be the bull’s eye glaring at Orion. Taurus is an earth sign, whose gemstone is emerald and whose metal is said to be copper.
