This majestic Delphinium was growing next to Lake Junaluska Chapel when I went there on a visit with my Dad. The words to the hymn “This is My Father’s World” are quilted on the gray stone of the chapel “to my listening ears all nature sings, and round me rings the music of the spheres. I rest me in the thought of rocks and trees of skies and seas: His hand the wonders wrought.”

In 2013 it was part of a solo exhibition in Raleigh NC at Lee Hansley’s Gallery
