A goldfinch swoops down from the sky and flits from tree to tree, only taking in part of the gardens before he is gone. Touring this enormous and elaborate garden, I felt like that goldfinch. I was overwhelmed by the beauty and diversity of Sarah P. Duke Gardens. I was inspirationally overloaded by the wealth of photography supplied by Ed Albrecht. I leapt from scene to scene with never enough hours in the day.
This quilt was sold at the Women’s Center Exhibition in Chapel Hill, NC. It hangs in a private residence in Durham, NC.
