TO VIEW DETAILS, CLICK ON THE PICTURE AGAIN

We saw a Monarch on our ferns at the back of the house. A closer look found it was in the jaws of a spider. We researched and discovered it was a Green Lynx spider, an ambush predator that wrestles and subdues its victims.
