I saw this magnificent tropical Jack in the Pulpit on my first visit to Tony Avent’s garden of Plant Delights at Juniper Level Botanic Gardens. The environments that have been created there just for these unusual plants are somehow too much work for me to do actually, so I had to create a reasonable facsimile even though it probably required more effort than the real thing!

This quilt participated in the Art in Embassies Program and hung in the Ambassadors residence in Lima Peru
