NGC6357 as seen by the UKIRT Telescope in Hawaii and the Spitzer and Chandra orbiting observatories show some of the most massive stars yet discovered. This spectacularly beautiful place is an unimaginably violent mix of dust and gas, interstellar wind, radiation, magnetic fields and gravity. Resulting in some of the most massive stars yet discovered. Don’t be concerned, it’s about 5,500 light years away.
